Level C Controllers course at Great Tower on Saturday 7th May

To all LOC planners and organisers,
Derek Allison will be running a Level C Controllers course at Great Tower on Sat 7th May.
The course will be from 9am to 4.30pm.
If you would like to attend please reply to Jerry Purkis, jerry56p at gmail.com.
For guidance, from the British Orienteering website:
Grade C Controller
If you wish to become a Grade C Controller, the following must be completed:
 Organisation of a British Orienteering registered event at least once in the previous10 years.
 Plan 3 events, at least one at level C and one within the previous 5 years.
 Attend a British Orienteering Level C controller course.
 Attend an Event Safety workshop
 Be appointed by the relevant Association
As a Grade C Controller you will be able to control a level D or C event

Come and Try It Days at Fell FootMon 14th and Weds 16th Feb

During the half term holiday (14th – 18th Feb) on Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th from 1000 - 1200 and 1300 - 1500 come to Fell Foot Park near Newby Bridge with family and friends and have a go at some orienteering on what we call a CATI day (come and try it). Remember those people who have said they have always wanted to try it?
