Injuries? Do you stretch enough?
Strength and stretch training helps prevent injury and helps our body recover after injury.
Deyna Hirst is running a series of sessions on Wednesday mornings for orienteers on zoom. Read on for details of these sessions.

Family O Project update
Kath and Claire are now in post and beginning work on the Family 'O' Project.
During the coming weeks and months, we will be planning and promoting activities to introduce orienteering to family groups.
We aim to begin to deliver a programme of family-friendly sessions and events from early 2023. These will run alongside and dovetail with existing development opportunities within the club.

Family 'O' ProjectDevelopment Workers appointed.
Welcome to Claire and Kath. How lucky are we?! Not one but two fantastic people appointed to deliver our Family O Project which is being jointly funded by the North West Orienteering Association, the Orienteering Foundation and LOC. Claire Heppenstall and Kath Savage are current members and come with a wealth of skills and experience, they're both full of ideas and are looking forward to rolling out the project from Autumn.

It was a fabulous (but very hot) morning at Kendal Castle for the twelve families that joined us to play orienteering games, learn new skills and run around two short courses. Thanks to Heather Heppenstall for organising and for the LOC members who came along to help.
