The Club Championships social was cancelled earlier this year and so presentation of three of our annual awards was put back until another opportunity presented itself. That moment came on Sunday after the CSC Final. Hurrah!

Tuesday 18th session will be an introduction to night terrain orienteering. Suitable for all levels whether complete beginners or those just wanting to refresh their night skills before the winter season. Meet at the quarries on the Southern side of Birkrigg common (stone circle side) at 6.15pm. It is essential you let Claire know if you are thinking of attending so we have the correct number of maps printed. Head torch also essential! Kath and Claire are now in post and beginning work on the Family 'O' Project.
During the coming weeks and months, we will be planning and promoting activities to introduce orienteering to family groups.
We aim to begin to deliver a programme of family-friendly sessions and events from early 2023. These will run alongside and dovetail with existing development opportunities within the club.
