Comments from Derek Fryer - Relay Organiser:
2 Events in 1 – 200 top juniors from 12 regional squads across the UK and 72 top M/W 20/21s representing England, Scotland, Ireland & Wales enjoyed a great day of Relay Orienteering on the sunny and testing dunes of Haverigg Bent Hills. It was a one-off combination of JIRCs and SHIs on the same weekend. It worked thanks to the vision of Planner Rich T, Controlling by JK, SI and scoring by our Ali & Mike H and Cath & Steve from PFO plus the expertise and commitment of a large band of LOC members and squad parents. It was my pleasure, assisted by Ali F, to see all that experience and enthusiasm come together on the day. There was a lot of appreciation from the team managers and participants, Thank you all, Derek F
