What does this mean?

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

How to choose a course

Entry Details

Entries via SI entries now open, EOD available at Registration. Please follow signs for registration and start from the carpark.

£2 per entry, LOC juniors free.

Registration and Start times

Registration from 1:00pm for entry on the day. 

SI cards (dibbers) and compasses will be available at Registration for those who do not have their own.

Start times are from 1:30pm to 2:45pm. 

Courses will close at 3:30pm.

You should make your way to the finish by 3:30pm even if you have not completed your course.

Facilities

Toilets - follow the signs - by café entrance. Please be mindful if you have muddy footwear when entering the building.

Dog restrictions

Dogs on leads allowed. Please be mindful of roads, public and other course competitors

Family/Saturday Series suitable for younger and new members.

LEAGUE COURSES White/Yellow/Orange earn points in the Junior league & top up your school points. Juniors competing must take part by themselves.

OPEN COURSES white/yellow/orange/score open courses, enjoy the open courses. In groups, pairs or alone & practice your orienteering skills.

NAVIGATION HUB Come and collect skills cards, earn stickers and show us where you went.
