Course Information

White, Yellow, Orange and Score courses, especially designed for primary
age children and families

White length 1.2km TBC

Yellow length 1.4km TBC

Orange length 2.3km TBC

Score 30 min for older children parents and helpers.

White: explore the paths of this woodland area and find lots of markers (kites, checkpoints) along your route.
Yellow:
for those slightly more adventurous! Venture off the paths as you follow streams, walls, and fences through the beautiful woodlands.
Orange:
for those with some experience of map reading, navigation or orienteering. Move away from the obvious line features to find controls on hills, marshes and crags (amongst others). Begin to develop skills in looking at the shape of the land from the brown contour lines or using your compass to help you decide which direction to head!

SCORE: For parents, helpers and older juniors- take on the challenge of finding as many checkpoints/ controls as you can in 30 minutes in whatever order you choose, but with a twist to increase the difficulty of the challenge!

Remember you can do more than one course. If in doubt start easy and move onto something more challenging.
