Urban Night Series 5

Local level event

What does this mean?

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Report

Tonight was the final event in this year's Night Urban Series, a dry evening for a run around Windermere, we hope you enjoyed tonight and the whole series. Apologies to anyone on the short course who maybe was confused en-route to or from control 5, who had their map orientated correctly, for controls 6 & 9 possibly being confused.

Many thanks especially tonight go to Pete who agreed to plan it at a fairly late stage, Sandy as Series Co-ordinator, the control collectors Jo and Andy (Apologies to anyone I've missed, I wasn't there !) and the SI Team of Mike, Sandy & Jerry. Also many thanks to the Brookside Inn for allowing us to use their facilities tonight and to Warrior OC for use of their map.
