Overview

On Saturday 28th November there is a coaching day hosted by the Orienteering Foundation at Simpson Ground, near Newby Bridge. The day is open to clubs bringing a group, or individuals in clubs who aren't. I am overall in charge of the day, and a LOC group will be there coached by Richard Tiley. The coaching is aimed at those doing Light Green courses or above (TD4 or TD5). General information about the day on the OF website: Lakes Coaching Day 28th November 2026. The cost to LOC members will be £4 for seniors, and free to LOC juniors (the rest of the £7 fee is covered by LOC). If you want to attend, please sign-up on here: OF Coaching Day (LOC signup only). Register by midnight Sunday 22nd November. Please register in advance as there is no late entry and you cannot just turn up on the day.
Hope to see plenty of you there!

This is the day before the LOC Galoppen event at Roanhead. A great opportunity to put those new skills into practice! Entries for that are also now open.
