Thanks to Jo for some great courses tonight in a lovely area, we hope you enjoyed the event. Thanks also to Carol for the Orange/Yellow registration organisation and the SI Team of Mike and Ali.
Overview
Stockbird Head is a compact competition area, comprising predominantly delightful deciduous woodland, with odd pockets of coniferous plantation. One of these has recently been clear felled leaving a bit of a scar across the southern slope. Both technical courses cross this, to make the most of the small area, but this is otherwise a pretty runnable wood. Climb on all courses is quite modest, with the north-east half of the map presenting lots of subtle contour details, testing fine navigation skills.
