Map / Terrain
Eggerslack Woods are set on the east-facing slope of Hampsfell, and rise from near sea level to around 180m. Terrain consists of runnable woodland, areas of denser vegetation, bare rock and scree. There are crags in the area, mostly small. There are complex contour features. Underfoot conditions vary from runnable woodland to leaf-covered slopes and bare rock. Everywhere may be slippery given time of year.
The area is crossed by various footpaths, some of which may be indistinct due to fallen leaves.
