Local level event

What does this mean?

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Report

It was a very warm evening on Birkrigg Common today for the latest Summer Series event, we hope you all enjoyed the event and the special courses planned by Iain and his new map of some of the area! As the Long, Short and Orange courses all used two maps at different scales, apologies but I won't be able to post anything to Routegadget.

As always, many thanks to Iain for planning, Gill as safety, Sandy as Series Co-ordinator, Simon C and Gill for first aid cover, Gill, Graham, Iain and Pete for control collecting and the SI Team of Ali, Mike and Sandy.
