Directions / Parking

Parking will be at the high point of the unnumbered road between Kendal and Underbarrow, shown on OS map as Underbarrow Road. There are two car parks on the north side of the road. You may park in either, but Registration and Download will be in the EASTERN one. i.e. on the Kendal side.

Please note, due to a very high pre entry, parking will be tight, can we please ask that you car share as much as possible. There are 2 car parks - registration and download will be sited in the eastern car park, there is a possibility some of you will need to find parking on the road. If you park in the western car park, you will need to visit registration to collect a hire dibber before running if you have requested one and also to download after running - please make sure you do so. Please make sure you return to download in the eastern car park whether you complete your course or not - this is just so we know you have returned safely and don't send out a search party for you.

Map / Terrain

An open area on a limestone ridge top lying just east of Kendal, with a fast path network, some gorse patches, and some technical terrain towards the north end. Courses are on the long side because of the easy underfoot conditions, and lack of major hills.

Full leg cover isn’t compulsory unless weather is bad.

The area is exposed and if the weather is bad you may be required to carry a hooded waterproof jacket. You should bring one to the event and notices will be displayed in the car park and at the start.
