What does this mean?

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Report

Despite the rain, there were a lot of you who joined us up on Cunswick Scar today for the latest Saturday League event, well done all who completed a course (or two!), we hope you enjoyed it.

Many thanks to everyone from LOC who helped in any way today - Jerry for planning, Louise as SS Co-ordinator, helpers Gill, Rowan, Carol, Liz and the SI Team of Ali, Mike and Janet.

A plea from the organisers - if you can do so for future events, please pre-enter in advance online ! It will guarantee you a map and also reduce the queue at registration. Also please note we only accept cash payments on the day and the correct change is always very much appreciated.
