What does this mean?

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Map / Terrain

Broughton Tower is a new area, mapped by Bilbo in 2024 [there has been some updating required since then due to felling] Mainly parkland with some woodland.

There is an area, visited by the Score event, dedicated to mountain bikers which might be used on the day. Please be aware.

The whole area is well used by the locals & their dogs so please be courteous. There are unfenced ponds, slippery tracks & some broken, untaped fences. Be aware!

Some competitors will visit the local school grounds. Watch for cars & use the marked crossing point.

The Village square is OOB
