All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Safety:
Although you are entirely responsible for your own safety during this training exercise, please consider wearing bright or reflective clothing, take care on all roads, and around blind corners. Some controls are far from street lights if you are running in the dark. Most of the area is on streets and parkland with small areas of woodland. Please don't run across the golf greens! Some new gates around the golf course are on the pdf maps but may not appear on the map on your phone.
The course
You can run this as a score course in 45 minutes, or however long you like. For an extra challenge, try Decades Orienteering: start with the 70s (control codes 70-79 in any order). When you've had enough of flares or got all the 70s, move on to the 80s. When shoulder pads and perms are no longer your thing (or you've got all of 80-89), finish with the 90s and some proper music. Obviously you can't go back to a previous decade - that would be a fashion disaster. All of this in 45 minutes or just keep going until you've finished - it's up to you. Mark your own homework.
