Local level event
What does this mean?
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Tonight was the penultimate Night Urban event in Barrow with a smaller entry than at other events, so a good opportunity to potentially score some points for the Night Urban League ! Hope everyone on the short and long courses didn't get too confused over the different map scales and all enjoyed the part in the park - for info there were 95 steps up to the war memorial !
Thanks tonight go to Iain for planning, Derek for Safety controlling and placing controls, Sandy as Series Co-ordinator, Clare for helping on the start, the control collectors Liz, Iain, Pete and Derek and the SI Team of Ali, Gill and Michael.
Next week is the final event in this series, so last chance to grab some points ! Also, Christmas jumpers are encouraged (although not necessarily while running!) as it will be the final event before the 25th.
Routegadget has been added - long and short courses both used two different map files using different scales, which have been combined into one - some of the controls may look a little 'out' compared to the map.
