The series will be a mix of normal SI events and MapRun events as below.

This year's Night Urban Series is a mixture of traditional and MapRun races.
The traditional races take place on alternate Wednesday evenings using SI Timing and small control kites. MapRun races will be available for the other scheduled weeks and beyond.
To be competitive, you should run your MapRun course after 17:30 within the scheduled week. You will need a compatible phone or watch with MapRun6 installed. You can be non-competitive and do the MapRun courses at any time.
A total of 8 races with 5 to count in the series. Runners at night must wear some reflective garment and carry a torch (head torches are preferable). Runners under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst out on a course. MapRun runners in day time are advised to wear a 'hi-viz' garment.
