Overview

Most of each course is in a very runnable open wood and has a mainly clean floor with only little bracken. The courses avoid the few larger crags and there are no dangerous marshes. The rock and contour details are excellent.

Some of the ruined walls may be difficult to spot in places due to their low height ad moss cover. Paths and tracks are often intermittent and can be difficult to follow. The YELLOW and ORANGE courses have some taped routes to help with this problem. More experienced orienteers may wish to concentrate more on the intricate contour and rock details.
