2021 Northern Championship

PROVISIONALLY CHANGED TO 6th JUNE 2021

Sun 6 Jun 2021

Part of the weekend of the British Middle Distance Championship and the Northern Championship.

These above two events were scheduled to be held on 8th and 9th May 2021.
It has become clear that, because of the restrictions detailed in the government’s road map, it will not be possible to hold the events on those dates but we hope to hold them on Saturday & Sunday 5th & 6th June 2021. These dates are currently provisional as we need confirmation from landowners and British Orienteering.

The Northern Championship (NC) by MDOC on on the day after the British Middle Distance Championship (BMDOC) which is being organised by LOC.
Both events are based at Finsthwaite and will use the same car parking and assembly area each day.

We will keep this page updated as the situation clarifies. We will make a final decision following Step 2 of the Government roadmap (no earlier than 12 April) and communicate it to British Orienteering members as soon as possible.

If you want to make accommodation bookings in anticipation, you are recommended to ensure that you will be able to cancel if the event cannot go ahead.
