Turkey Race 2

Local level event

What does this mean?

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Terrain type: Forest

Thank you everyone for joining us on a very wet day today at Burnt Turkey and Green Sprouts (otherwise known as Burnt Woods and Green Hows!), for the second of the Turkey events - we hope you all enjoyed your courses and running on a new area!

As always, our events are put on by a number of volunteers - thanks go to Iain for planning, Lecky for Safety Controlling, Clare for newcomer welcome, the control collectors - Derek F, Carol M and Mark S, huge thanks for going back out into the forest and the SI Team of Ali & Mike.
