Course Information

There will be 2 courses available - a Long 3.4km and a Short 2.5km course. Shortest routes are around 5.8km for the Long and 4.1km for the Short.

The Short course is a shortened version of the Long course.

A total of 8 races with 5 to count in the series. Runners at night must wear some reflective garment & carry a torch (head-torches are preferable). Runners under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst out on a course.

We encourage running in pairs, this is a must for under 16s (with an adult) but adults can also do this, it is good way to start orienteering particularly at night. Just enter either as the junior for the junior/parent pair or one adult as the adult pair. Email your partner name to loc_si@btinternet.com and state if you want an extra map (£1 payable on the night).
