Local level event
What does this mean?
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Directions / Parking
Parking in Kendal Leisure Centre car park, Burton Road, Kendal. Parking for Orienteers free after 17:00. Please park at the rear of the car park.

Urban. The courses will cross several busy main roads, so competitors should be prepared to wait to cross safely.
Juniors under 16 must run with an adult

You can select to pay with LOC vouchers on SI Entries, just enter the code for this series (request it via email from email@example.com) and hand vouchers in at SI on the night.
We encourage running in pairs, this is a must for under 16s (with an adult) but adults can also do this, it is good way to start orienteering particularly at night. Just enter either as the junior for the junior/parent pair or one adult as the adult pair. Please add the names of the accompanying adult/pair in the ‘Additional names and ages’ box and also request an extra map, if required.
