It was a lovely clear but cold evening for the LOC North West Night League event tonight at Dockney Parrock, we hope you enjoyed the courses, despite the windblow and the bogs !

Many thanks to all the LOC helpers tonight - Harry for planning, Richard for safety, Gill, Judy & Steve for parking and the SI Team of Ali & Mike.

Map / Terrain

The area is a relatively compact (mainly) deciduous

woodland, plus a couple of grazed fields. There are

numerous paths, tracks and walls criss-crossing the

whole area, plus several fenced enclosures. The

courses have been designed to avoid the worst of the

wind-blown trees, but the going is still a little rough in

places (offering some interesting route choice). Expect

déjà vu all over again if you run the LOC champs

on the Sunday, but in the light.

Views from the top of the open area are lovely.
