About Lakeland Orienteering

Sat 12 Sep 2015

Lakeland Orienteering Club (LOC) has members living in the area from Ulverston in the West, to Kirkby Stephen in the East, and from Shap in the North to Carnforth in the South.

LOC has an e-mail Newsletter with up to date information and results , usually every week which is also stored in a Newsletter Library on the website. The Contacts webpage shows who is responsible for various parts of the club management.

The club holds regular events - details of which can be obtained either via the Events page of this web-site or through printed fixture lists.

We also have monthly meetings with the dates on the Events page of the website - open to ALL club members. The idea of having open meetings is that anyone in the club can express their views - if you are interested in club affairs and activities please attend, rather than just relying on a committee. Please  contact the club Chairman for details.

The Club is affiliated to the North West Orienteering Association (NWOA), the regional body which co-ordinates the sport in NW England and the British Orienteering Federation (BOF), the national body, which co-ordinates activities within the UK and represents the sport on the world stage.
