LOC acheived 3rd place at Sunday's CompassSport Cup Final near Sheffield.

This fantastic result mark's the clubs best perfomance to date in this competition. Over 70 club members took part in the final at Longshaw in the Peak District against the best of the British clubs. Yet again South Yorkshire Club dominated the competition but LOC runners performed well to battle into third.

With a number of strong runners unable to take part, the club score of 2023 points, 39 behind Octavian Droobers’ 2062 and above last year’s runners up, Bristol OK, was very impressive.

With 380 points on Orange, our young juniors are our super stars with the W60+ Short Green close behind them to take 1st place above all clubs.

Our Open Men’s team did well to gain four counting points, though SYO’s men’s strength meant that they had 9 runners in front of our first counter!
