What is Orienteering?
Orienteering is a sport that combines map reading and running. Competitors have to find their way between a series of checkpoints, called controls, as quickly as possible. There’s no set route between the controls, so you have to decide which way to go and then find your way there without getting lost.

A series of 4 TD5 Wednesday evening events
The 2016 Tech Series is now complete and the results for all the 4 excellent events are on the website results page. There will be another Tech Series of similar events in 2017.
A series of 3 Schools events with a final on 19th May and the Furness School Games event
2016 coaching series
The four coaching events from 23rd Jan to 27th Feb organised by Derek Allison and Carol McNeill with help from some others have now been completed, they have been very well attended.
