What is Orienteering?
Orienteering is a sport that combines map reading and running. Competitors have to find their way between a series of checkpoints, called controls, as quickly as possible. There’s no set route between the controls, so you have to decide which way to go and then find your way there without getting lost.

Middle and Long Distance Events
Follow-on from JK in some of the best Lakes terrain for Middle and Long Distance events, full information on the Event page .
9th February from 20.00 and to complete by 22.00
Monthly LOC Committee meeting, with all club members welcome to contribute. There are usually some members who arrive from 19.15 for some social time before the meeting.
